Jobs Plus Permit 681/2019

The chosen candidate shall be responsible for the general maintenance and orderliness of the Orchestra facilities whilst ensuring all equipment is in good shape at all times.

Duties include

  • Assisting in the planning, preliminary preperation, and general organisation of concerts and other events organised by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra;
  • Supervising all the logistical requirements for each concert before and during each performance;
  • Setting-up for rehearsals and concerts at Robert Samut Hall and all venues where the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra performs;
  • Assisting with the handling and supervision of orchestral instruments and equipment being transported to and from concert venues;
  • Liaising with transport and concert venue personnel

Knowledge and Experience required

  • Qualifications at MQF level 3 in at least 3 subjects OR
  • Five years’ experience in a similar position



Jobs Plus Permit 682/2019

In this position, the officer will be providing professional assistance to the Executive Chairman and drive forward discussions with the authorities and private entities in respect of the successful delivery of an arts centre.

Duties include

  • Producing appropriate reports, briefings and presentations;
  • Multi-tasking and balancing competing schedules and priorities;
  • Ensuring good governance and adherence to legislation and regulations

Knowledge and Experience required 

  • Degree in Cultural Management, Communications, Business Management, Public Administration or a related area OR
  • Public Officers or public sector employees not below Scale 12 with 3 years working in a similar environment with experience in concert production
