Musicians in possession of a university degree in music performance or a conservatory diploma or equivalent at MQF Level 5 or higher, and experience in orchestral playing, are invited to send a completed application form, including a detailed curriculum vitae and copies of relevant qualifications, together with a recent video recording of one’s own performance addressed to:

Administrative Assistant (Front Office)

An opportunity has arisen to work with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, which organizes and performs in numerous local and international concerts throughout the year. We are looking for a detail oriented and responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The selected applicant will also play a key role in making travel arrangements for our guest artists in line with our procurement procedures.

Main duties include:

– Handling requests for travel arrangements for the guest artists of the Orchestra, according to their specific needs;

– Dealing with requests for purchases and request quotes from various suppliers;

– Overseeing the front office, pleasantly greeting visitors and professionally respond to telephone calls and in person requests for information;

– Providing a full range of administrative support to senior management and other staff.

Knowledge & Experience

Qualifications at MQF level 3 in at least 5 subjects ,two of which should be Maltese & English

Confident use of office automation software such as Microsoft Office
