Tchaikovsky’s “Pathétique” is possibly the composer’s greatest work. Premiered one week before his death, theories abound on whether this work was his farewell to life.
Maltese violinist Carmine Lauri joins the orchestra to perform Beethoven’s lyrical Romance and Bruch’s Concerto, a work balancing melodic simplicity and virtuosity.
