The MPO, under the baton of Christoph Gedschold, presents an enriching programme celebrating Carl Nielsen and Jean Sibelius on the 150th anniversary of their births (1865). The event is part of the many tributes that have been held around the world this year to honor two of scandinavia’s greatest composers. This concert will also welcome Maltese national, flautist Laura Falzon, who will be performing one of Nielson’s celebrating concertos.
