With its extensive and full calendar of events, the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra is the main cultural ambassador of the Maltese islands. It performs in about 70 concerts annually, which include symphonic concerts at the Manoel Theatre and the Mediterranean Conference Centre, opera productions in both Malta and Gozo, community programmes, as well as a number of other concerts of lighter musical genres in various locations in the Maltese islands.
