Following on last season’s sell-out performances of Peter and the Wolf and L’Histoire du Soldait the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra proudly presents Amazing Adventures, the first of this season’s performances for children, youth and families.
Synopsis
Meet the ardent explorer Jomola, on a quest looking for the mysterious essence of cisum ….. an essence that can transform the existence of those in the vicinity. Jomola braves the wild seas, the dense forests, the deepest crevices of the earth and even the far away stars in search of this essence. Will Jomola succeed ………… at what cost? …………. And what happens if the essence is not found?
Featuring the exhilarating music of Beethoven, Smetana, Stravinsky, Williams and young Maltese composer Steve Psaila, the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra will be under the baton of Joseph Vella.
Original story and presentation by Sarah Spiteri with special effects and pixel mapping by Nicholas Critien this is a unique experience ………….. A musical journey with a bang!
