MPO MOVIE SPECTACULAR 
 The MALTA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA brings you some of the most exciting soundtracks from both the silver screen's golden age and recent blockbusters. As popular and sensational on the concert platform as on the silver screen, this year's MOVIE SPECTACULAR - The Movie Classics has all the ingredients for sheer excitement. Under the direction of Kevin Abela the MPO presents an eclectic programme with music from The Magnificent Seven, Super Man, Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, Once Upon in Time in America, Lord of the Rings, Scent of a Woman, Eyes Wide Shut and James Bond. The MPO goes British for a night
 The MALTA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA concludes its four-concert series at Teatru Manoel in style on Friday 25 May. Featuring two of Malta's leading ladies, soprano Gillian Zammit and MPO leader Marcelline Agius, the MPO under the baton of Michael Laus presents an all-British programme of works by Britten, Vaughan Williams and Elgar. MPO BAROQUE CONCERT SERIES
 The MPO Baroque Concert Series draws to a close for this season on Friday 1st June, at the MPO residence Robert Samut Hall in Floriana.
Resident conductor Michael Laus conducts the MPO from the harpsichord in an eclectic programme of works by JS Bach, Zelenka, Boccherini & Fux, featuring MPO sub-leader Nadia Debono and MPO principal flute Rebecca Hall in JS Bach's concerto for violin, flute and harpsichord in A minor.
