Orfeo & Majnun is an interdisciplinary, participatory music-theatre project connecting two myths from different cultures, the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice and the Middle Eastern legend of Layla and Majnun.

A theatre of emotions about love, loss and longing and the power of music, Orfeo & Majnun uses multiple textures, including shadow puppet theatre, to express a new take on these well-known tales. The music-theatre performances at the Mediterranean Conference centre will be followed by a Parade in the Capital on 27 October in the streets of Valletta.
