Be enchanted by the emotional storytelling power of Disney’s classical music from FANTASIA

Disney shares one of its crown jewels of feature animation with a live show by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra accompanying scenes from Walt Disney’s original FANTASIA (1940) and Disney FANTASIA 2000.

Highlighting a selection of the magnificent repertoire from both films including Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite.

Other iconic moments from Disney’s stunning footage, such as Mickey Mouse as he dabbles in magic in Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and the mythical unicorns and winged horses that accompany Beethoven’s ‘Pastoral’ Symphony, will also be shown in high definition on the big screen.

The production will consist of two concerts:

–          Saturday 20^th February Matinee at 15:00 hrs

–          Saturday 20^th February Soiree at 19:30 hrs

performed by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, and conducted by Maestro Brian Schembri.

The Show is recommended for Adults and Children alike, however suggested as being more suitable from ages 6 upwards.
